This shot was taken on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park, 30 minutes after a monsoon rainstorm.

I remember the first time I started taking photos was with my dad. He was taking shots of a sunset when we were on vacation at Marco Island, FL. As soon as he handed me his camera I snapped a shot exactly when a seagull flew into view. I entered that shot in the county fair that year and won the best of show taking the Blue Ribbon home!
